Nicolas Bertherat

Photographer Overview

Nicolas Bertherat is a Paris based professional photographer specialised in still life and food photography. His work focuses mainly on advertisement and editorial assignments and shoots regularly for a wide variety of clients including Pierre Hermé, Nespresso, Ladurée, McDonald’s, Nestlé, Lindt & Sprungli, Danone, Quick or Häagen Dazs, but also for Air France Magazine and Gault & Millau Magazine.

From 1995 to 2005 he worked regularly for the Japanese editorial press, including Japan Airlines Magazine, Sports Graphic Number (Sport), Créa (Luxury, Arts de Vivre & Voyage), Spécialités (Culinary & Grand Chefs), Senmon Ryori (Culinary).

He has also co-authored publications such as Larousse du Chocolat de Pierre Hermé, Larousse des Cocktails, Nouvelle cuisine Japonaise from Hisayuki Takeuchi, Ma Cuisine Facile pour Femmes au Bord de la Crise de Nerf from Cristina Egal.

Nicolas Bertherat works principally in his Paris studio, but travels also frequently for his assignments.
