Photographer Overview

People / Places / Lifestyle

I'm a portrait photographer. I work with agencies and directly
with businesses, organisations & individuals.

I grew up skateboarding, doing my best to avoid football & fighting
in a small mining village. For a long time I had no idea taking
photographs could be a real job but have always loved making images.
My earliest photography memory is cursing the shutter lag on a Ricoh
TF900 whilst attempting to capture a Thrasher cover worthy shot of
my mate ollie-ing a bin.

Photography is my tool for connecting with people & exploring the
world. Compassion and empathy are a big part of my process which
allows my subjects to be who they are in front of the camera. My
work often gives a voice to the unheard, quite often to people who
never realised they had something to say.

I'm based in the North of England, where I live with my family in
a village dominated by a gang of roaming psychopathic peacocks.
They don't scare me though. Honest.
