Assistant Overview

Norwich University of the Arts graduate Emily Edwards is a still life, food & drink photographer based in London.

Since graduating from BA (Hons) Photography in 2021, Emily moved into a full-time photographer’s assistant position for two highly accomplished photographers Colin Campbell and Sara Morris. Predominantly her role consists of working on food, drink and still life advertising campaigns, as well as editorial and TV commercials; working alongside a wide range of creatives including food & prop stylists, set designers and clients.

Alongside her full-time role as an Assistant, she continues to work on her own personal projects. These projects continue to showcase striking attention to colour and graphical elements, altering the perception of traditional food and drink photography, presenting subjects in a playful and contemporary manner. Many of Emily’s shots have gone on to be shortlisted in well-respected photography awards including the AOP, Equal Lens and the Vice.
